About

Chez Chloé has evolved from my love of food, cooking and France. I have always enjoyed all things having to do with food. Learning all aspects of it from planting seeds in the garden to earning a degree in nutrition in order to gain a better understanding of its chemistry. I've eaten my way through many regimes from raw foods, macrobiotics, veganism to eating a lot of meat, cream and fois gras. Now I have found a good personal balance of all the above.

I began traveling in France with my family about 8 years ago, starting with short trips, culminating in a three year sejour. After completing a degree at L'ecole Superieur de Cuisine Francaise and passing the French Certificat d'Apitude Professionel in cuisine, I continued my education catering for expats in the city and offering personal culinary tours to favorite food spots: markets, boulangeries, restaurants, specialty shops and kitchen stores. In addition, I have also had the opportunity to travel to the many regions of France, all offering their own unique customs and flavors and hope to shed light on more than just the city life. And did I mention I love French kitchenware and linens!

Chez Chloé is more than a place to find high quality cooking tools, books and classic French house wares, it's a place to gather, learn and exchange ideas with one another. Food brings us together in so many ways.

Thanks to my children, Willie and Chloé for being a part of this adventure and sharing it so lovingly.
